School of Sangromancy - Grim Hollow Wizard Subclass Review

Grim Hollow is a supplement for D&D 5e that offers new player options, focusing on the darker aspects fantasy. It includes new rules for transformations, allowing players to become Vampires, Werewolves, and Liches, along with new spells, backgrounds, and magic items! If those sounds like something you’re interested in, Grim Hollow: Valikan Clans is currently live on Kickstarter (at time of writing), so I’d recommend checking it out!

Today, however, I’ll be reviewing one of the new Wizard subclasses, the School of Sangromancy. If blood magic isn’t your thing, then check out my review of the Bulwark Warrior instead!

All blood magic carries a vile reputation, yet it can be used for good as well as ill; like necromancy, and other magic, it is the caster that determines the true purpose of the magic. Sangromancy requires sacrifice, as well as knowledge, and other wizards may view sangromancers with hostility, but none would deny the power of their craft.
