Friends of the Fey contains a new playable race, the faun, as well as new subclass options for elves, gnomes, and halflings. It also contains new backgrounds for members of the fey courts, such as the Court of Light, also known as the Seelie Court, as well as for the Courtless, who are those not attached to any fey court. There are also half a dozen new spells, themed around the powers of the fey.
